Emergency Management

Valley County's Emergency Management team is responsible for developing, updating, and executing the county's Emergency Operations Plan. We are tasked with managing emergency disasters and hazards that may impact Valley County and its residents.

In partnership Boise State University and FEMA, Valley County has worked to develop a Hazards and Risk GIS Map. This tool is a comprehensive and interactive dashboard that visualizes hazard risk and resilience data in Valley County. It allows users to explore various layers of information, specific to your own property.
