Court Ordered Community Service

You have been Court Ordered to perform a specific number of hours of Community Service.

Community Service is unpaid, volunteer work that is beneficial to the Community.

Community Service can be a positive experience: an opportunity to use your skills or talent for the benefit of others; work that is self-satisfying which you may wish to continue even after completing your required hours.

  1. Read and sign the Community Service Agreement form, and return to the Community Service Coordinator.  This will be your proof you have checked in for Community Service.
  2. Community Service MUST be performed at a Non-Profit Organization operating under a 501(c)(3) or Government Agency.  The below list is of qualified agencies in Valley and Adams Counties.
  3. Online Community Service will not be accepted.
  4. You will need to complete a minimum of 10 hours of service per month.
  5. Take your Time Sheet with you each time you perform your Community Service and have the site supervisor sign off on it before leaving each day.
  6. Time Sheets must have legible contact information including phone number so that hours can be verified.
  7. Completed Time Sheets must be submitted to the Community Service Coordinator at Valley County Court Services.
  8. Please contact the Community Service Coordinator with any questions regarding your Community Service.
